If you love iced tea, you “get it”.

In the U.S., big glasses of iced tea are served almost as much as water in many restaurants.  Certain preparations, including “Sweet Tea” are practically religion in areas of the country.

Iced Tea isn’t just refreshing, but it can be one of the healthiest drinks on the planet.

Quality teas, like Wu-Long & SlimTea, can help you burn fat, detoxify your body, and help reverse aging every time you drink it. In celebration of this delicious, refreshing, and healthy beverage, I’ve compiled my 10 favorite ways to enjoy Iced Wu-Long & Iced SlimTea.

(Because our Certified Organic and Kenyan Oolong teas are very strong, I’ve included instructions to brew all three.)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Brew tea according to package directions
  2. Pour all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Store in a mason jar with a BPA-Free Lid.  I like to add cinnamon and nutmeg to the top of mine with some foamy milk.  Mmmm….

2.  Dr. Oz’s Fat-Blasting Cinnamon SlimTeaCup of tea with lemon and cinnamon

Makes 3 Servings

Dr. Oz has praised Slimming Oolong Tea for it’s catechin and caffeine combination that torches body fat and ignites your metabolism for hours after drinking it. Cinnamon also helps your body effectively process sugars.

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Turn off the heat and steep the tea.  Then let the cinnamon soak for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour tea in pitcher or mason jar with BPA free lid.  Fill the rest of the container with water and let chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

3.  Sweet Lychee SlimTea

Makes 6 Servings

Lychees are an incredibly healthful fruit that are found in China and Brazil. They’re soft, slightly chewy, and resemble the consistency of tapioca. They’re loaded with fiber, healthy flavonoids (the fat-burning antioxidant found in Wu-Long and SlimTea), and Vitamins, including C and B. Lychee benefit skin, hair, and heart health. Drink Sweet Lychee SlimTea for dessert, or as a delicious drink your friends will beg you to share!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil tea according to package directions.
  2. Juice half your lychee fruits in juicer or blended until fine pulp.  (If you don’t have a juicer, strain the blended lychees into a bowl and add to the tea.  You may need extra lychee fruit for this method.)  Add lychee juice to tea and set aside in refrigerator.
  3. Freeze 5-10 lychees in the freezer to make ‘ice cubes’.
  4. Once frozen, add frozen lychees to tea.  They take on a ‘tapioca’-like consistency that’s just delicious!

  • 6 Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 6 Cups Water

Chia seeds *exploded* in popularity over the past decade, although they were used by ancient Mayan warriors  thousands of years ago!  They’re known to control hunger and they’re packed with super-nutrients. This seed is edible when ground into a powder or soaked in water or tea for 15 minutes. They are used to boost energy, supplement your body with Omega-3 fatty acids, and provide you with carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants and calcium.  Whew! Here’s how I add this superfood to my Slimming Tea!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil Water and steep tea for 5 minutes.
  2. Add chia seeds to water once you remove tea bags.
  3. Puree Berries of choice and add to chia seeds and tea.
  4. Add Berries and chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours in jar with BPA Free Lid.  You may add additional filtered water to taste.
  5. Pour delicious iced Chia Tea over ice before serving.

Cucumbers are packed with weight loss and detoxification benefits, too!

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Brew tea and chill for 2-3 hours.
  2. Add Mint and Cucumber and allow to soak for at least 30 minutes before serving.
